Painting was founded 1999 out of sheer frustration and disappointment in working for unprofessional painting contractors who didn’t share my commitment to excellence, high quality, and great customer service. They weren’t giving the customer a “quality paint job” for what they were charging them. I found that to be highly unethical and totally unfair to the customer. Working for these types of painting contractors was unrewarding and I dreaded being any part of it. The rewards for me were always in the “craftsmanship”. Doing the job right and knowing it was going to last was always my philosophy. The “transformation” of taking something unpolished and making it beautiful was the appeal. Unveiling a finished product and seeing the utter amazement and bright smiles on customers’ faces has always made the hard work worthwhile. I was raised with a strong work ethic and this phrase was instilled in me, “If you’re going to do a job, do it right, or don’t do it at all”! Our philosophy and slogan, “Long Live Your Paint Job” was born out of this approach to Viva! Painting’s work. When I made the decision to be a painting contractor I wanted to raise the bar on quality, do the job right, and give the customer a finished product that was not only breathtakingly beautiful, but one that would stand the test of time!

Immediately after opening our doors, I was amazed at how low the “Painting Contractor Bar” was. Homeowners and general contractors were shocked that we actually showed up when we said we were going to, completed the work we were contracted to do, and AT the agreed price….what a concept!! Who knew that being honest, providing a quality paint job and great customer service at a fair price was so rare? We have built a business on the quality and reputation of “our work”. We’ve survived on referrals only…we’ve never advertised! Our work speaks volumes and that has been our best advertising campaign. We’ve never looked for the quick buck or the quick fix, but rather to deliver the best job possible for the project at hand. You know what they say, “It’s all in the prep” and we don’t cut corners on surface preparation. We use the best products available today, along with the best and safest application process. We have no desire to be a huge company....we will leave that to the big boys! We often get hired instead of them. We prefer to provide quality over quantity! Whether we are working on a little residential bathroom project or a big commercial project, our approach is the same….to get the job done right and make it last! The attention to detail and quality is always there from start to finish…and on schedule!

We are thorough in all aspects of the job from contract to completion and always have a “commitment excellence”. This includes continually educating ourselves on the latest industry standards, practices and products. We then relay that knowledge to our customers and recommend the best products for the job, environmentally safe products, the best applications, and job safety. We are committed to safety for our customers and for our employees. All work is carried out in compliance with WISHA/OSHA required safety standards and is licensed, bonded, and insured.
